We are committed to empowering people through education, self-development and economic empowerment, and we respect the information you share with us. 1. Information we collect
-
Information you give us: name, email, phone, country, language, photo, biography, social links; applications (including your story and your need for support); intake forms; manuscripts and book details; messages to coaches; posts and replies in the community; testimonials; survey answers; and what you type to us in forms or the website assistant.
-
Payment information: when you pay or donate, Stripe or PayPal collects your card or account details. We receive confirmation, the amount, the last four digits of a card, and your billing name and email. We do not store full card numbers.
-
Payout information for authors: the method and details you give us so we can pay royalties, kept encrypted and visible only to people who need it.
-
Contract and royalty records: agreements, commission terms, statements and payment history.
-
WhatsApp: if you opt in, your phone number and the messages you send or receive through our WhatsApp connection.
-
Information collected automatically: device and browser type, pages visited, referring page, approximate location from your IP address, language setting, and cookies.
2. How we use your information
-
To provide and manage programs, coaching, publishing, grants, orders, invoices and royalty reports.
-
To run the author community and accountability groups.
-
To communicate with you about your application, order, schedule, account and updates, and, if you agreed, send newsletters and event reminders.
-
To promote books and authors on our Site, newsletter and social media, where you have given permission.
-
To answer questions through the website assistant and improve it.
-
To keep the Site secure, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
-
To understand how the Site is used and improve our programs.
3. Our basis for using your data. Depending on where you live, we rely on one or more of: your consent (for example newsletters, WhatsApp and promotion of your name and photo); performing a contract with you (orders, publishing, royalties); our legitimate interests in running and improving a nonprofit program; and legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Who we share information with
-
Service providers who work for us under confidentiality: payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), website hosting and database, email delivery, scheduling tools, analytics, and AI providers that help write responses or drafts from our own content.
-
Platforms where we publish at your request or with your consent: Amazon KDP (for your book), LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp (Meta).
-
Other community members, only what you choose to post, and the display name you choose.
-
Our coaches, reviewers and directors, limited to what their role needs.
-
Authorities or advisors when the law requires it, to protect our rights, safety or property, or to complete an organizational transaction.
We do not sell your personal information. Donors' names appear publicly only if the donor chooses.
5. AI tools. Some features use artificial intelligence, such as the website assistant, caption and article drafts, and translation drafts. Do not put sensitive details in the assistant. We choose AI providers whose business terms do not allow them to train their models on the data we send them. People review AI-drafted public posts before they are published, unless an administrator has turned on automatic approval for a content type, and such posts use only information in our own records.
6. Cookies and similar tools. We use necessary cookies to run the Site, and, with your consent where the law requires it, analytics and marketing cookies. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer or in your browser.
7. How long we keep information. Application and account records are kept while you are active and for up to seven years after your last engagement for accounting and legal reasons, then deleted or anonymized. Unsuccessful grant applications are kept for up to two years. Community posts are kept until you or a moderator remove them or your account is closed. Donation and tax records are kept as the law requires. Website assistant conversations are kept for the period set in our settings (default 12 months).
8. Data security. We use encryption in transit, access controls by role, and logging of sensitive actions. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
9. International transfers. We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. When you use our Services from another country, you understand your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. We use contracts and provider safeguards to protect it.
10. Your rights. Depending on where you live (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Benin and many other places), you may have the right to: access your data; correct it; erase it; restrict or object to processing; receive a portable copy; and withdraw consent. You can also tell us to stop marketing messages at any time using the link in each email or by replying STOP on WhatsApp. If you make a request we will respond within one month. Write to info@lifeevolution360.org. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Children. Our Services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it. Youth programs involving people under 18 require a parent or guardian's consent.
12. Changes. We may update this policy. We will post the new version with its date and notify account holders of important changes.
